LEGAL

Privacy policy.

Last updated 20 September 2026

This policy explains what we do with the information you give us through this website. It is written to be read, not to protect us. If anything here is unclear, email us and we will explain it properly.

Who we are

In Your Corner is a mental wellbeing program operated by Campbell Somerville as a sole trader, ABN 79 527 137 790, based in Melbourne, Victoria. In this policy, “we” and “us” means In Your Corner. You can reach us any time at hello@in-your-corner.com.au.

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to type into a form on this site. That is:

  • Your name and email address, so we can reply to you.
  • Your organisation, if you tell us one, so we understand who we would be working with.
  • Whatever you write in the message field, and the date and time you selected if you used the booking form.

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect payment details through this website.

Please don’t send us health information here

This site is for arranging programs with organisations. Please do not include anyone’s personal health information, diagnoses, or details about a specific individual’s circumstances in an enquiry form. If those details are relevant to planning a program, we will discuss them with you directly and handle them appropriately. If you send them to us anyway, we will treat them as confidential and delete them when they are no longer needed.

Why we collect it

To reply to your enquiry, to arrange and deliver programs, and to stay in touch with organisations we have worked with. We do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to, and we do not use your information to advertise to you.

Who else can see it

We use a small number of third-party services to run this website. Each of them can technically access the information that passes through it:

  • Our web host, which serves the pages of this site.
  • The form service that delivers your enquiry to our inbox.
  • Our email provider, where your message arrives and is stored.
  • Our booking system, if you book a time through this site.

Some of these companies store data on servers outside Australia, which is normal for services of this kind. We do not sell your information, we do not trade it, and we do not share it with anyone else unless you ask us to or the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead anywhere are deleted within about twelve months. Records relating to programs we have actually delivered are kept for as long as we need them for that relationship and for our tax and business records, which in Australia generally means at least five years.

Analytics

We may use a privacy-focused analytics tool to count how many people visit the site and which pages they read. Where we do, it is configured not to identify individual visitors and not to follow you around the internet. If we ever add a tool that sets cookies for tracking, we will ask your permission first and update this page.

Your information is yours

You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, to correct anything that is wrong, or to delete it entirely. Email hello@in-your-corner.com.au and we will action it within a reasonable time and at no cost. You do not have to give a reason.

If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, tell us first and we will try to fix it. If that does not resolve it, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Keeping it safe

This site is served over an encrypted connection, and the services we use are protected by passwords and, where available, two-factor authentication. No system is perfect. If something ever goes wrong in a way that could seriously affect you, we will tell you and the Information Commissioner as required.

Young people

This website is intended for adults arranging programs on behalf of an organisation, not for young people to use directly. We run programs with participants under 18, but consent and information for those participants is handled through the school, service or community organisation we are working with — never through this website.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. This is version one, published at launch.

If you are in crisis, call Lifeline on 13 11 14. In Your Corner is a wellbeing program, not an emergency or clinical service.
